Author: Just like all sports, NASCAR has a few drivers that are head and shoulders above all the rest. As the drivers age, it is necessary for new drivers to step up and take control of the wheel. Right now, NASCAR has a great group of younger drivers who are doing their part to maintain their sports popularity. If NASCAR is going to continue to increase its fan base it is important that they develop a pipeline of new talent to keep fans interested during the long season. Here are a few names to watch out for in 2011 and beyond.
One of the most talented drivers waiting for his chance is Cole Whitt. Whitt is only 20 years old and has been racing for most of his life. Another driver as talented as Whitt is Austin Dillon. Dillon is the grandson of Richard Childress and has racing in his blood. One year older than Whitt, Dillon should show up in NASCAR around the 2012 season. A name fans should already know is Justin Allgaier. Allgaier, currently driving in the Nationwide Series, is a few years older than the other two drivers and should break into the Sprint Cup before much longer. It would also be wise to not forget about Trevor Bane.
