CHASSIS & SUSPENSION

It's pleasant to drive a car when the chassis is stiff. It's why we have to make appropriate repairs on the body. We modify parts at necessary places to add stiffness. On the other hand, we take care in making our modifications on the structure to make sure not to amplify noise and vibrations of the suspension and tires on passenger cell.

A major handicap of most American muscle cars is the on sprung weight reciprocating. To improve handling, we have to modify or change some parts to more appropriate ones. This applicable to all vehicle frequently used on highways or for one's who desire to have a soft suspension. It's important also that the car runs straight at low or high speeds.

Most modifications or repairs on the frame and rail frame, factory or original suspension and super handling arrangement, are available at AM Racing.

The racing 2 link or 4 link, ladder bar and leaf springs system are part of our 25 year experience in the domain of street application and racing. Some custom made parts are also available. Take a look at our roll bar, our roll cage and at our frame connectors!

There can be 14 different modifications made on the front end of a AMC car and this in keeping all original parts to make a super handling with stock front suspension appearance.
