REPORTING JOB
SWIRL STREET PERFORMANCE
All performance Cylinder Head reporting
jobs, used for street, are made carefully
to keep or to produce a better SWIRL movement
in the combustion chamber.
Most street profile camshafts are designed
for a lower lift at valve. This SWIRL
is tested under .400 lift. It's where
we work, to help the customer, to keep
the best performance under 3000 RPM engine
range and keep the best GAS consumption
and Torque.
All reporting head port intake exhaust
is made according to the application or
the usage of the customer.
The budget plays a big roll in this
job.
The street engine RPM cruise 2200, 3500
(6500 maximum RPM), the low lift reading
flow is very important by example : flow
test at .050, .100, .150, .200, .300 lift
at valve. For a flat tappet cam, the valve
job shape is very important because it
have a lot of crankshaft degrees rotation
for the low lift valve profile.
We use a cutter tool valve seat multiple
angle 70º, 60º, 45º, 30º 15º to 0º. A
deshrouded job is made with this milling
machine. Price is $175.00, 15% more flow
automatically.
Port match, port blend, edge cut V8
S-B w/die grinder hand made, price $175.00
for 10% more flow +/- 3

DETERMINING THE COMPRESSION RATIO
The compression ratio is based on the
formula:
P.D. + C.V. = C.R.
C.V.
P.D. = Piston displace: (.7854 X bore
diameter) X 2 X stroke = total cube inch
C.V. = Cylinder volume: (cylinder volume
inch) ÷ .0612 = total c.c. // (cylinder
volume c.c.) X .0612 = total inch
